Why You Want to Give Up And Why You Shouldn’t

Struggles and trials are inevitable. We all have to go through them at one time or another. Sometimes it can seem as if we are constantly in a struggle. You may look back at your life over the past few years and feel as though there were no good breaks. Like everything came with resistance.
Everything in our lives happen for us in some way. If you have been going through a difficult time, there is a lesson for you to learn. The struggle can’t go away until you learn the lesson. Sometimes we allow the circumstances to keep us stuck, instead of move us forward. So, rather than learning and growing through the difficult times, we get discouraged, bitter, angry, and we give up. When we give up, we have no way of moving forward. It’s like accepting that this is where we are going to stay for the rest of our lives.
Difficult times serve a purpose. And the purpose is for us to grow into who we are suppose to be. Many times they help us to develop our character so that we can be better prepared for where we are going next. The problem is we spend our time resisting the difficulty instead of allowing it to change us and prepare us for our next step. If we focus on what we are suppose to learn in this moment, at this time, instead of when it will end, we move through the difficult times with more ease.
So rather than fight against these difficult times in your life, embrace it and allow it to change you for the better. None of us are suppose to stay the same. We are meant to grow and change. Don’t live your life trying to avoid all the difficult times. Those lessons will only keep showing up in different ways. Allow yourself to be changed for the better so you can have all the things you want in this life.
